A taco stand on every corner, amirite?

A cruise ship exits the Garrison Channel in Tampa, Florida on Sept. 2, 2015.
It's a leap year, and while we thought just a smidge about life four years ago (on the edge of pandemic!), Creative Loafing Tampa Bay is looking four years ahead and recently asked local lovers and shakers to tell us what Tampa Bay needs.

Inspired by Nashville Scene’s “What Nashville Needs” issue, we now want readers to tell us what they think this region and our neighborhoods need to be a better place in four years.

The answer could be simple: a taco stand on every block is not a bad idea.

Or maybe it's more complicated: new zoning and design code for Tampa, amirite?

Perhaps it's out of reach: real public transportation that gets cars off roads.

You're the ones who care about your communities, so we want to hear from you.

Just complete this simple Google Form with your answer, and we'll reach out to get your response ready for publication alongside those from local leaders in our Feb. 29 leap year issue.

Answers should speak to what you want your community to look like the next leap year. Yes, we can talk about perennial frustrations (transit, housing and infrastructure, etc.), but also think outside the box (health insurance for service workers or musicians, a cap on snowbird entry, something to make sure we’re not going be underwater in 30 years, city wide wifi as a public utility).

Thanks In advance for your time and thoughtful responses. We're looking forward to looking ahead with you.
