The nominating period for Creative Loafing Tampa Bay's 2022 Best of the Bay Readers Choice Awards is now open.

That means readers can visit vote.cltampa.com and nominate their favorite people, places, businesses and events in these nine different categories:
  • Arts
  • Beauty & Wellness
  • Drink
  • Entertainment
  • Food
  • Goods
  • People
  • Places
  • Services
Nearly 400 different Readers Choice Best of the Bay awards are up for grabs this year, but only the top 10 nomination getters will move into the voting round, so tell your friends, family, mailman and customers to nominate you before the nomination period ends on Thursday, June 30 at 11:59 p.m.

Voting will start in August, and winners will be announced the night before the Best of the Bay issue lands during a Best of the Bay party on Thursday, Sept. 29 inside the Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa.

Please only nominate locals (we know you love McDonald's breakfast, OK?).

Readers are also only allowed to nominate one person/place/business/event per category per email address.

As our contest referee told us that if they suspect that a nominee obtained nominations or votes unfairly or via ballot stuffing (aka via a third party or by voting for yourself repeatedly using fake accounts), they will be disqualified.

More information is at botbtampabay.com.
