Swiss Photographer, Vicky Althaus, recently released a mini series featuring a nude model wandering through a natural history museum. This series raises a number of ideas about our relationship to nature and how we choose to present nature in our museums. In particular, these photographs demonstrate the surreal act of stuffing animals, positioning them in "natural" poses, then displaying them behind ropes and glass. This piece reveals just how unnatural many of our museums are.
