The New York Times announced on their Web site this afternoon that they will begin charging for online access to their site next year.
The paper reports that visitors to the site will get a "certain number" of articles free each month before being ask to pay a flat fee for unlimited access. Subscribers to the print edition will have full free access.
The logical question is: how much? The answer is, they're not saying.
