“C’mere Jesus, I got something to show ya!” Perhaps it is lines like this one from Godspell’s “Turn Back, O Man” that cause people to call it Jesus Christ Superstar “lite.” Or perhaps it is the fact that Jesus (played by Victor Garber in the film version) wears a clown-like outfit with a Superman shirt … I don’t know. Either way you can catch the 1973 film and the beloved Disney’s Alice in Wonderland on back-to-back nights at the Straz Center and the Dali Museum, respectively.
