And the food-related assaults just keep coming in the northern Bay area.

A 41-year-old Port Richey man (an age at which he certainly could have been expected to know better) was arrested yesterday for throwing a burrito at his girlfriend and hitting her in the face.

According to WFLA, the pair were in an argument at their shared home when the incident occurred. After she called the police, authorities arrived and saw the evidence, um, all over her — but the perpetrator, Peter Elacqua, had already left the scene. The cops called Elacqua's cell phone; he was reportedly uncooperative, and turned his phone off.

Elacqua was later found, arrested and charged with domestic battery.
