A 57-year-old Clearwater man was arrested and charged with second-degree murder after the 57-year-old neighbor he was witnessed assaulting died of his injuries. According to an ABC Action News report, witnesses called the cops to report the fight, and when police arrived the assailant was still holding down the victim.
The victim was a well-liked pastor at a small church up in New Port Richey.
Witnesses said the two had on ongoing dispute over the assailant failing to notify the victim before mowing his lawn, thus not giving the victim the option to move his car.
Of all the reasons to murder the pastor that lives next door, "because he kept asking you to let him know before you mowed your lawn" is, um, not a reason. There is no reason.
