Nestor Haverly hasn't been around for very long, but the downtown St. Petersburg art gallery has already begun attracting the works of some big name artists. The latest exhibit, Pablo Picasso: Printmaker, Original Graphics from the Marina Picasso Collection, features nearly 30 prints by Spain's most famed artist. Picasso was a prolific printmaker and one who was always willing to try out an array of techniques. He created lithographs, etchings, drypoints, lino cuts, woodcuts and aquatints, and he even experimented with a combination of several of these techniques. The works on display at Nestor Haverly are presented with generous cooperation from Marina, the artist's granddaughter and span Picasso's career from 1932 to 1971. The works are on display through May 8, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tues.-Sat., Tropicana Building, 25 Second St. N., downtown St. Petersburg, free admission, 727-822-4800, nestorhaverlygallery.com.
