Pinellas County announced the opening of four new free mask distribution sites throughout the county starting today.
The pick-up sites include:
- Clearwater Beach Library & Recreation Complex 69 Bay Esplanade, Clearwater Beach.
Mon. and Fri. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 3 p.m.-5 p.m.; Wed 1 p.m.-2 p.m. and 3 p.m.-6 p.m.; Thu. and Fri. 1 p.m.-2 p.m. and 3 p.m.-5 p.m.
- Countryside Library 2642 Sabal Springs Dr., Clearwater.
Mon.-Thu. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 3 p.m.-6 p.m.; Fri.-Sun. 12 p.m.-2 p.m. and 3 p.m.-5 p.m.
- East Community Library at St. Petersburg College 2465 Drew St., Clearwater.
Mon.-Thu. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 3 p.m-6 p.m;, Fri.-Sat. 12 p.m.-2 p.m. and 3 p.m.-5 p.m.
- North Greenwood Library 905 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., Clearwater.
Mon.-Thu. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 3 p.m-6 p.m;, Fri.-Sat. 12 p.m.-2 p.m. and 3 p.m.-6 p.m.
The county advises calling each location ahead of arrival as there is a limited supply of face masks available.
Another new site is expected to open next week at Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center, 1003 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N. in Safety Harbor. Hours there are Mon.-Wed. from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Thu. from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. and Fri. 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

Beginning June 24, Pinellas County issued an emergency order mandating the use of face masks inside businesses. The order now lasts on a weekly decision by the Pinellas County board of commissioners to renew it.
