Pornstars turned rappers (SFW music videos)

rap is. [image-1]But who knows, maybe doing porn is kind of like selling crack or getting shot---it gives you street credit… or maybe not.

Brian Pumper: Mr. Pumper took a hint from 50 Cent and did a diss song against Rick Ross. In fact he may have done the song as a means to get signed by 50, which didn't happen. As a porn king, you’d think the one thing this guy's video would have going for them is plenty of kinky back-up performers. However, his string of videos only feature one or two dancers whose booty clapping isn't enough to distract from the uncharismatic songs, or to convince listeners that he pimps as many hoes as he claims. It also doesn't help that he's rapping next to expensive cars that appear to be parked at a dealership.

Jake $teed: There's something to be said for rapping about what you know, which is exactly what $teed does, spitting rhymes about getting laid. And to his credit, $teed adds a bit of humor to his songs, at least I hope he's trying to be funny. To give you a flavor of his musical sensibilities, here’s the tracks for, Jake's Latest and Greatest:

[image-3]India: In 2006, India released her solo album, Role Play. The song in the video below, "Get it Girl," is all about being an independent woman and using your body to get paid. Of all the videos on this post, this is the sexiest and best produced, featuring a strip club scene. Still, maybe she should have called the album "Pole Play."

[image-4] aka Double H: This retired pornstar reportedly traded sex for record deals. Unfortunately those record deals must have fell through as she ended up releasing her album, "The Unexpected," under her own label, Blo Records.

[image-5]Pinky: So named for her hair, this thick, big booty porn queen has announced her plans to release a rap album. She recently gave a New Jersey crowd a taste of her lingual stylings. While it's hard to make out what she's saying over the noise, it's safe to bet that her mouth is just as dirty as it is in her sex videos.

Music has long been tied to sex. On a carnal level being able to shake your shit to the beat is an age old way of displaying your sexual fitness. The music world is no stranger to the adult industry. Strippers hustle their goods to ass grinding songs and musicians use sexy dancers for their videos. Eminem is a fan of enrolling pornstars for his videos: Gina Lynn appeared in his video for  "Superman," Lisa Ann revived her role as Sarah Palin in “We Made You,” and Jenna Jameson appears in “Without Me.” Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle takes the relationship between porn and music a step further, mixing hardcore sex scenes with hip-hop videos in the same DVD. The success of Doggystyle paved the way for other rappers to host similar videos, including Mystikal, Too Short, Ice-T and Yukmouth. 50 Cent's alter ego Pimpin' Curly  even commentated a sex tape featuring Rick Ross's baby's momma, Brooke.

Until I happened on a post by Peeperz (NSFW link), I hadn’t realized just how common, though unsuccessful, the crossover from porn to
