The Tampa Museum of Art fundraising group Friends of the Arts (FOTA) hosts a swing dance party, Tropical Jive, to support museum programs. Senior Health Fair
Saturday, April 7
Tampa General Hospital hosts a free Senior Health Fair. TGH's ambulatory center, HealthPark offers a half-day full of free health screenings, important medical information, exhibits, refreshments, entertainment and even bingo to senior citizens. HealthPark is located at 5802 N. 30th St., one block north of Hillsborough Avenue, in Tampa.
New Moms Need Assistance
Alpha, "A Beginning," Inc. in St. Petersburg seeks volunteers to assist their mission of providing housing and supportive services to homeless pregnant women and teens, new mothers and families experiencing crisis pregnancies. Opportunities include office assistance, on-site baby-sitting, mentoring and sorting donations. Call 727-822-8190.
School Volunteers Needed
