Screening at USF

Screenings include a questionnaire, individual and confidential consultation with a clinician, information and referrals. Scheduled one month after the Sept. 11 attacks, the screenings aim to help those having severe symptoms of depression, uncontrollable crying, anger or an overwhelming feeling of despair. Loop for Lupus Fundraising Event features a motorcycle rally, three-mile beach walk, run or crawl, raffles, a silent auction, entertainment from Busch Gardens, a few professional wrestlers, Happy the Clown, a block Party with Oldies Radio U92 and Doo Wop Dou, Precious and Few and more. People United for Peace Picnic

Come together and celebrate with neighbors in your community to gain support and begin the healing process in Tampa Bay. The Peace Picnic is a day to eat, share ideas and have fun. Volunteers Wanted at the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Thursday, Oct. 18
6-8 p.m.
This annual jazz event needs some helping hands to distribute drinks, food and merchandise as well as floaters to help in various areas. Walk to 'd'Feet' ALS

8-10 a.m.
The first annual benefit for ALS Association, Florida Chapter. A three-mile walkathon for patients and families to help fight ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), a rapidly progressive neurophysical disease. All walkers are welcome. No registration fee is necessary but donations are welcome. The walk takes place at Carillon Office Park in St. Petersburg.
