Heal the Hurt at Sports Night

Sports Night 2001 raises funds to prevent child abuse and neglect. The event features a silent auction of sports memorabilia, autographed items, sporting event tickets, equipment, artwork, hotel and dinner certificates; a dinner buffet, live music and games. Offshore Powerboat Race

Pinellas Association for Retarded Children seeks volunteers to sell concession tickets, work the gate areas, work the beer and soda trucks at the Offshore National Championship Powerboat Races. National Bowl-A-Thon Benefit

AMF sponsors this national bowl-a-thon to raise money to benefit the families of New York City firefighters, police and rescue workers. The goal is to raise $3-million for the relief fund started by New York Mayor Giuliani. Benefit held in Tampa area AMF bowling centers.
