Gov. Ron DeSantis’ political committee raised nearly $715,000 in January, as it continued piling up cash.

The committee Friends of Ron DeSantis raised $714,924, marking the fourth consecutive month that it brought in more than $700,000, according to new report posted on the state Division of Elections website.

The committee had about $6 million in cash on hand as of Jan. 31. The largest contribution to the committee in January was $125,000 from Palm Beach money manager Paul Tudor Jones II, a founder of the Everglades Foundation.

Other large contributions included $50,000 from The St. Joe Company, a Panhandle developer and landowner; $25,000 from Brown & Brown, Inc., a Daytona Beach-based insurance firm; and $25,000 from Publix Super Markets, Inc.
