Rasa-Lila Fest 2012 is a yoga festival for all

Rasa-Lila, which can be freely translated from Sanskrit into ?the dance of love,? intends to become a nationally sought-after yoga and wellness festival. Like some of its older and more seasoned festival counterparts, Rasa-Lila offers festival-goers a complete one-day retreat package in a breathtaking and engaging natural setting.

"I started Rasa-Lila Fest with a simple vision of bringing the local yoga community together,? said Nathan Bangs, founder and event planner for Rasa-Lila Fest. ?Rasa-Lila Fest is a celebration of that vision, uniting our growing community at one location for one great event.?

The festival starts at 7:30 pm on Friday night, with a live music yoga class, and Saturday at 9 am, and ends at 9 pm. Adult admission is $50. Teen admission (between 13-17) is $20. Children 12 and under are free.

As yoga continues to expand its horizons throughout the United States, so does the vision for Rasa-Lila Fest. Tampa Bay’s 2nd annual community yoga festival is on March 30-31, at Camp Brorein in Odessa. Rasa-Lila Fest will amass sixteen yoga classes, including kids and partner yoga, seven musical acts and almost thirty workshops from some of Tampa Bay’s most respected holistic health practitioners.

And if the events aren’t enough to entertain the anticipated 900 plus participants, all Rasa-Lila participants have full access to stand-up paddle boards for use on an open lake, as well as a vendor village, featuring over seventy-five local artists, restaurants, and wellness sponsors.
