ReFRESH

Dive right in with CL's Summer Guide 2015.

Sure the weather’s already sultry, tempting you to sink into a poolside torpor.

But this year, CL’s Summer Guide urges you to Get ReFreshed! ReLaunch your canoe and head to Shell Key with Kate Bradshaw. Grab your rod and get ready to ReBait with Scott Harrell. ReCharge your fitness regime with Julie Garisto. Or even ReLoad, if you dare, with Leilani Polk at the rifle range.

ReSail the Davis Island Thursday Night Races, ReCoil at Adventure Island’s Colossal Curl, ReTurn to a Rays game (and invite Stu Sternberg along). ReView all the indie movies, ReServe a spot at one of the multiple new restaurants opening this summer (thanks, Meaghan Habuda), or ReFill your glass at one of myriad drink fests.

OK, maybe I’m going a little overboard with all the Re-this’s and Re-that’s, but think of them as a ReMinder (somebody stop me) that, while we may be BeReft of snowbirds in the summertime, that doesn’t mean the energy around here ever flags.

Use this issue as a guide to all the great stuff that’s happening over the next three months. Just make like our cover model, the amazing Mikey Wells from Atomic Tattoo in Ybor (winner of Best Tattoo Studio in CL’s 2014 Best of the Bay): Get on up and take the plunge!

Or hey, you could also just read the issue — and ReLax.
