Since the beginning of August (and coinciding with the addition of Stephen MacNamara as chief of staff), Rick Scott has been doing a media offensive that may become a regular part of his duties in office, but still seems unusual considering his indifference, if not outright hostility, to the press corps in the first few months of his tenure in office.
But poll numbers in the 20s will necessitate changes (the latest poll numbers have the governor back in the mid 30s), and Thursday morning Scott called into 970 WFLA radio in Tampa, where he discussed unemployment, education and the possibility of trade with Cuba in a six-minute interview.
