Apparently Rush Limbaugh is blaming envionmental groups like the Sierra Club for this current mess in the Gulf of Mexico. Yesterday on his radio show he asked, "When do we ask the Sierra Club to pick up the tab for this leak?"
The "greeniacs", he claims, have been driving the oil producers "way, way, way offshore", thus heightening the "risks" of drilling that far out to sea and at deeper depths.
So, let's see: Limbaugh believes the Sierra Club, who is clearly against oil drilling, should foot the bill for a spill that doesn't involve them at all — other than the environmental group's current efforts toward oil spill relief efforts. Good logic there, Rush
