Sean Hannity is controversial and divisive, but he's also extremely successful. His three-hour radio show is carried on more than 500 stations, and he's become one of the preeminent voices of conservative thought in America due to his nightly perch at 9 p.m. on the Fox News Channel.
But a statesman?
That's what the Sarasota Republican Party is calling him as they tout his upcoming appearance at the Van Wezel in September.
Then again, this is the same organization that bestowed their "Statesman of the Year" honor to Donald Trump last year.
Hannity's in your face style isn't limited to liberals, mind you.
