As an advocate of localization in our economy, he is active in building local business alliances in affiliation with national organizations like the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies and the American Independent Business Association. Scott recently founded the Sustainetics Institute to help businesses incorporate green and sustainable practices into their business strategies and models. He holds degrees in philosophy and software engineering and an MBA.
