I have been "studying" craft beer since my days in Northern California during the microbrew revival, and since moving to St. Petersburg in 1994. An advocate for the artisanal ales, a homebrewer, and an all around craft beer evangelist, I write about the emerging beer scene in Florida and the country at large, as well as the expanding culture of craft beer appreciation. My formal education is in environmental studies and creative writing, and currently work in the IT industry. I am a father of two, an avid traveler, and an insatiable reader.
