31This evening, Lorna Bracewell, Ken Spivey Band, Geoff's Evil Twin and several others perform in support of Open Arms Homeless Outreach, a nonprofit that assists the Brandon/Seffner/Valrico-area homeless. 8 p.m.-1 a.m., Sacred Grounds Coffeehouse, Tampa.

01Marcus Kyle is joined by four other Bay area comics in Saturday Night Raw, a special R-rated show hosted by Side Splitters in celebration of Labor Day Weekend. Midnight, Tampa,

02Drop by the Central Florida Cactus & Succulent Society's Labor Day Show & Sale, and stock up on a variety of agaves, opuntias, sedums and other water-retaining plants you've probably never heard of. 10 a.m.-3 p.m., USF Botanical Gardens, USF-Tampa.

03Florida's Largest Home Show features more than 1,250 home building, remodeling, decorating, landscaping and furnishing exhibits as well as various demos, special guests and "eco-friendly" appliance and furniture displays. 11 a.m.-6 p.m., Tampa Convention Center, downtown Tampa.

04In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, HCC-Dale Mabry Art Gallery presents Latino Artists: A Multicultural Show, an exhibit of sculptures and paintings by Gerardo Aristud, Giovanni Bosch, Anthony Cardoso, and Carlos Camargo Vilardy. Through Oct. 13, HCC-Dale Mabry, Tampa.
