The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa’s $700 million expansion is leading to the creation of 1,200 new jobs.
That’s according to a press release which says that the company is looking to fill more than 50 positions during a two-day, open-call job fair on June 4-5.
Registration and check-in for the events starts at 9 a.m. in an air-conditioned tent in the North Parking Lot adjacent to Hillsborough Avenue and Orient Road. The job fair will end at 2 p.m. each day. Early arrival is suggested since applicants will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Jobs available span 10 departments and include a menagerie of job titles including nail tech, security, cashier, housekeeping, bellhop, line looks, custodians, servers, and more.
The hiring process can be sped up by applying online, and a separate recruiting post suggests that job seekers bring a hard copy of their resume, an unexpired ID card and Social Security card. If you have a work authorization, then bring that, too. Offers will be made on the spot, and candidates should be prepared for the possibility of having an immediate interview.
