Seminole Heights will host candidate forums for Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioner elections and the Hillsborough County School Board. At each forum, organizers will consider pre-emailed questions from the public.

At this time, candidates Victor Crist, Mariella Smith and Kimberly Overman have confirmed for the Sept. 18 BCC forum; candidates Karen Perez and Henry "Shake" Washington have confirmed for the Sept. 25 School Board forum.

The All Seminole Heights Neighborhood Associations Board (South Seminole Heights Civic Association, Old Seminole Heights Neighborhood Association, Southeast Seminole Heights Civic Association and Hampton Terrace Community Association) and Heights Urban Core Chamber will jointly sponsor these two nonpartisan forums. Former WFLA reporter Leslee Lacey will moderate.
