Good morning! Let us start this literally dreary day by reminding ourselves that Thursday was also dreary, but only in the figurative sense.
After months of back-and-forth, the St. Pete City Council has approved a deal that will allow the Rays to look at possible alternate stadium sites in the Tampa Bay area before the 2027 expiration of the team's contract. As someone whose home is less than a mile from the Trop, I'm personally very torn between continuing to almost never go to games and enjoying a baseball season that doesn't include getting all stabby in backed-up traffic for the 5th Avenue North exit.

And finally, a sex offender is suing Pasco County, saying he can't return to his childhood home due to legal restrictions the county puts on sex offenders prohibiting them from living near schools and other places where children congregate. Let's start a crowdfunding campaign to purchase a certain sex offender's attorney just a little shame, shall we?
