It's Friday, so we won't dwell — we'll simply review and move on, hopefully to an office party with an open bar.

The Sunshine Skyway was closed for more than three hours yesterday due to heavy fog — not because it was dangerous to drive but just, you know, so nobody could accuse it of not walking the walk.

Progressive auto and energy company Tesla announced its subsidiary Solar City will be opening an installation center for its residential solar-energy offerings in Clermont. Thomas Edison's ghost was unavailable for comment, possibly because it was busy trying to think of a way to steal and rebrand the whole concept.

To be fair, parenting is difficult even when you're not blowing rails with a 3-year-old around. Which is, I guess, the most obvious of many, many reasons why you shouldn't be blowing rails with a 3-year-old around.

And finally, the list of film and TV productions leaving or opting not to shoot in Florida due to its lack of incentives for the industry is growing. "Those aren't real jobs, anyway," said a guy who bought his way onto the board of a company that might make an app a year from now.
