Sh*t happened 3/22/16: More spice ODs, Buckhorn OKs pot decriminalization

Yesterday's news seemed, in many cases, like deja vu all over again.

The number of police and rescue calls about St. Pete individuals thought to have "overdosed" on synthetic-marijuana product Spice rose to nearly 30 since last Thursday. Probably just a bad batch, right? THEY'RE ALL BAD BATCHES, DUMMIES.

Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn signed the City Council-endorsed ordinance lightening penalties for possession of small amounts of marijuana. I'm not sure even the Gonzmarts have this much pull, but wouldn't it be funny if this all turned out to be a run-up to the perfect Goody Goody reopening?

And finally, Hulk Hogan's jury piled on Gawker, adding $25 million in punitive damages to the $115 million judgment. Jesus. Was one of the questions for potential jurors "Do you also have a gross and unwatchable secret video of yourself having unattractive sex that strangers might find hilarious?"
