The Florida Supreme Court ruled that the state's ban on openly carrying firearms is constitutional, dealing a minor blow to those people who think a 200-year-old reference to a well-organized volunteer defense force gives modern individuals the right to own shoulder-mounted rocket launchers.
I'm not exactly sure "having the most inexpensive schools where it's possible to earn a two-year degree within three years" is the best criteria for determining Florida to be the best state for higher education, but whatever, we'll take it.
And finally, some total sack of taints stole more than $1K from a Pasco girl's basketball team that had to wash like a million cars just to afford uniforms and equipment. If caught, the total sack of taints will be beaten in the street with a complete bag of hammers. How many times do we have to tell you?
