Watch it recede in the rearview.

Good morning! How was your weekend?

FRIDAY, MARCH 2:

A judge ruled that Dade City's embattled Wild Things cannot own tigers. Really, no one should own tigers.

Just days after its CEO left the company, SeaWorld saw its Chief Creative Officer leave as well. You can only get so creative with "our business model is based on exploiting animals."

A Pasco County man was arrested after he shot his neighbor's dog when the dog came into his yard. He first claimed self-defense, then later said he was never threatened by the dog. So, yeah.

SUNDAY, MARCH 4:

A Citrus County teacher was removed from her position after it was discovered that she hosted a racist podcast under a fake name. She's quoted as saying "it isn't supremacist to prefer your own people over others," which, come on, that's pretty much the definition of supremacist, right there.

And finally, the Oscars got it right. I would've loved to see Get Out win Best Picture, but The Shape of Water is, in all honesty, the better movie.
