Wednesday held the photo of itself with Tuesday close, as a single tear ran down its face, mirroring the rain on the windowpane. "Not yet," Wednesday whispered to the photo, to itself, to the night. "It's not over yet."

A Florida state appeals court has blocked Tampa strip club magnate Joe Redner from growing his own medical marijuana by imposing a stay on a judge's previous ruling that he could do so. Will his plans to hurry Florida along on its way to implementation of medical cannabis go up in smoke, or has he already sown the seeds of a greener future? You'll have to endure a million more puns to find out, probably.

A reported 30,000 gallons of reclaimed water leaked at St. Pete's Southwest Water Reclamation Facility yesterday after a worker ran into a pipe with a backhoe. The leak was discovered immediately, and almost all of the fully treated water was contained at the facility. Normally this wouldn't be news but, you know, St. Pete.

Hillsborough deputies busted a stolen-goods ring and snagged $90.000 worth of hot retail merchandise, a large amount of weed and a "stolen boat." Most of the merchandise was reportedly from Home Depot. Note to Bay News 9 writers: when you use "Home Depot" and "fences" — meaning brokers of stolen goods — in the same sentence, people are gonna get confused. Context is everything, people. Bonus quote from Sheriff Chad Chronister: "I think a lot of it was greed driven."

And finally, a Hillsborough judge dropped the charges against one of those douchecanoes who were recorded on video dragging a shark behind a fast-moving boat for fun last year. No, not that one, the other one, the one who's daddy is a partner at a powerful personal injury law firm. Go figure.
