Jobs site ZipRecruiter released a study putting Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville among the top 20 fastest-growing cities for tech employment. Among the chief attractive qualities these cities share is that they're sunny like California only it doesn't yet cost $7,000 a minute to simply exist in the general vicinity.
Speaking of Tampa-Orlando connections, did a Ruskin guy really decide to rep Tampa to the max by going over to the Pulse memorial to protest a loving tribute to lives lost with homophobic sloganeering, only to get into a shoving match with a cop and then arrested? Of course he did. You really showed 'em who's on the right side there, pardner.
Speaking of fear of the different and the hateful idiocy it so often engenders, it appears the KKK is actively recruiting in Hudson. Via flyers. Damn, you bigots are in serious need of an intern with digital marketing skills. Or just talk to Tucker's sister's kid, he's on the Facebook.
And finally, speaking of Pasco County, the USA Flea Market in Port Richey was shut down yesterday due to numerous code violations. Raise your hand if you ever, in your life, considered that flea markets might be subject to code enforcement.
