Pinellas County is giving Hillsborough's potential Rays stadium sites a run for their money with its own list of 17, count 'em, 17 potential locations. Not for nothing, but this seems like exactly the opposite of the direction this process should logically be taking.
A new study ranks Florida's drivers the worst in the nation. Which really isn't fair, because the rest of the nation has been sending its worst at everything here for decades — where's the curve? The study also says Florida has the second-highest number of uninsured drivers, which isn't fair, either, because hey, not all 20something tweakers who resell stolen apartment wiring for a living can afford meth AND adequate coverage.
Ybor City nightclub Prana burned minimally in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The blaze was quickly extinguished, but that's two now. 7th Avenue nightlife can once again be described as… eh, too easy.
And finally, an auction of shuttered legendary Plant City "resort" Red Rose Inn's contents planned for Saturday has been canceled, presumably due to the restless spirits of the departed wailing and flickering the lights and roaming the halls in an eternal search for their lost love and what have you. That shit can be hella distracting when you're trying to appraise a wall sconce.
