Sink & McCollum get dirty early, Bush calls Crist support of stimulus "unforgivable" and Janet Cruz is your new District 58 Democratic Representative:Mitch Perry Report 2.24.10

Lots of stuff in the news today. First of all, the long, bitter race for District 58 in Hillsborough County is over. Okay, it was only a two-month campaign, but didn't it seem longer? Janet Cruz easily defeated Hunter Chamberlin last night to keep the seat both Democratic and Hispanic. Some juicy info came out earlier in the day on the race.

We caught Bill Foster live and in person yesterday, as the new St. Pete Mayor discussed a litany of issues at Tiger Bay.

Alex Sink and Bill McCollum have begun airing television ads, only 8 1/2 months before the two may be facing each other as your choice for governor in Florida.  They're getting nasty and personal immediately;

And last but certainly not least, Jeb Bush calls out Charlie Crist for supporting the stimulus bill.  Sorry if we don't lead with that, but it ain't that big of a deal.  What is: Another poll shows Crist getting blown out by Rubio. Isn't it seriously time that Charlie consider running against Rubio as something other than a Republican?
