Starting tomorrow, SPCA Tampa Bay will waive adoption fees for the majority of “pocket pets” through Sunday, Nov. 28.

What’s a pocket pet? Well, we’re talking about small pets, like birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and anything that can be squirrelled away in a reasonably sized pocket or bag.

SPCA Tampa Bay actually profiles all the available animals on their website, which currently features a turtle, chickens and a ton of rabbits. There's even a big ol' turkey named "Frida."

According to a statement from SPCA Tampa Bay, no appointment is needed, adoptions will be limited to just two per person, and a carrier or appropriate housing for travel is required. Fees are normally around $25-$30.

The shelter is located at 9099 130th Ave. N in Largo and is open Wednesday-Friday 1 p.m.-6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday noon-6 p.m.
