The weather was H-O-T, the vibe was warm and a tribe of very cool people greeted Creative Loafing as we marched and passed out papers during the St. Pete Pride Promenade (accompanied by the Chelsea Nightclub fire truck) and took family photos at our booth. We'll be posting those photos soon on our Facebook fan page, where you'll see the fantastic variety of families and faces at this year's parade.
But first here's a shot of a member of CL's family, Alchemy Oppelt (she's the one with the fairy wings), taken atop the fire truck by her father, CL Marketing Director Joran Oppelt.
She was so cute she almost stole the show from the hot fireman.
