A few months ago, the ACLU of Florida held a workshop on the First Amendment for reporters, photographers, protesters and anyone else who may be out on the streets when the Republican National Convention hits Tampa the in the last week of August.
Now the civil liberties group is doing it again, this time holding a webinar online called 2012 RNC in Tampa: What You Need to Know. It will take place on Tuesday, July 10 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Some of the same people who participated in the earlier event will be involved in the webinar, including Tampa City Attorney James Shimberg, Tampa Police Department Chief Jane Castor, Assistant Chief John Bennett, as well as ACLU officials and a representative from the Hillsborough County Public Defenders office.
