The home of local restaurateur Jeff Gigante, who’s behind popular Tampa concepts like Forbici Modern Italian and Boulon Brasserie & Bakery, is now on the market in South Tampa’s Golfview neighborhood.
Located at 3313 W Mullen Ave., the listing says the home was built in 1947. However, articles and photos of the property appear in Tampa Bay news archives much earlier, with a possible construction date closer to the late 1920s-early 1930s.
The 5,050-square-foot home sits about a block from Palma Ceia Golf Club, which currently looks like the surface of Mars due to a complete course overhaul, and comes with a total of five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
The estate features a heated pool, a full-house generator, Sub Zero and Viking appliances, and a two-story detached guesthouse, which was often referred to by previous owner and Tampa City Council candidate George A. Hochschwender as the “The Barn”—a space that hosted quite a few community and social gatherings over the last 50 years.
Gigante, co-founder of Ciccio Restaurant Group, now helms Next Level Brands, a hospitality group he operates with partners Andrew Wright and Joseph Guggino. As previously mentioned, the company helms local favorites like Forbici and Boulon, as well as the two-story dining concept Union New American, which opened in the Westshore area in 2023.
Property records show that Gigante purchased his South Tampa home in 2017 for $1,609,500. The home is currently asking $4 million, and the listing agents are Stephen Gay and Katherine Glaser of Smith & Associates.
