Tampa bay needs a better way to connect people to the city and other communities without their cars.

Convert Sulfur Springs park to a world class bike park like the Railyard Bike Park in Rogers Arkansas. Currently the mountain bike community drives out to Alafia or Boyette.

2) Better public transit that is not a bus. I think a mix of light rail and even gondolas to connect more of Tampa, and Tampa to nearby cities. More opportunities to traverse all of the city w/o a car and w/o having to park in some car park.

3) I-275, from the interchange through Seminole Heights, should redirect underground into a tunnel to make way for a huge linear park and businesses to reconnect both sides of the highway.—Dan Fleischbein, Director of Operations Infrastructure & Safety @ Bird & Spin

To commemorate the leap year, Creative Loafing Tampa Bay asked readers and local leaders to chime in on what Tampa Bay needs to be a better place in four years. These are some of the results of the "What Tampa Bay Needs" survey.
