Challenger Julie Brown has managed to snag the two largest public safety endorsements in her quest to unseat Tampa City Councilman John Dingfelder. Last week, she touted her endorsement from the West Central Florida Police Benevolent Association (which represents city police officers). This afternoon, Tampa Fire Fighters Local 754's President Larry Parker said Brown has also won his group's backing.
(The firefighters also endorsed Mayor Pam Iorio, incumbents Shawn Harrison and Gwen Miller; and Charlie Miranda, Joseph Caetano and Thomas Scott.)
