Good Wednesday morning to you all.

Let's get straight to the local political news: We were up in the Forest Hills area of North Tampa last night, where several of the candidates on the ballot for City Council next week in Tampa engaged in a loose, fun political forum.  Those candidates were from the two city wide seats up for grabs, as well as the local District 7 race.

The District 4 candidates who will represent South Tampa were not invited, since those citizens in Forest Hills can't vote for them.  But the Julie Jenkins-Harry Cohen race is an intriguing one, as we sat down the other day to learn more about Jenkins candidacy.

A whole group of political folks are coming to Tampa this weekend for a conference that, based on the itinerary, consists of a lot of folks who don't like the Federal Reserve Board.  Notables such as Fox News' Judge Andrew Napolitano and former Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo are scheduled to appear.

And remember BayWalk? The Centro Ybor of St. Pete?  There are now official plans to try to find somebody to purchase the property currently taking up space in downtown St. Petersburg.
