As we pointed out last week, 45 is in town. Don Sr.'s stops at the fairgrounds and Tampa Bay Technical high school mark his first public appearance in Tampa as president, and his base is excited to hear the prez stump for Florida gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis. That family member you love to argue with was probably out there waiting in the rain among a very diverse population, and your liberal relative is probably still out there voicing displeasure, too.
Another, more public, person not so happy about seeing the former Apprentice host in town? Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn, who took a page from our Tweeter-In-Chief by firing off a social media diss of his own (fewer typos in Buckaroo's post though).
"The Venom and Vitriol tour comes to the Fairgrounds today," wrote Buckhorn, who is a Democrat. "In our city, we value the contributions of everybody regardless of who you love or the God you worship and honor our the foundation built by our immigrant forefathers. America is stronger when we inspire, not demonize."
We'll keep an eye out for the DJT clapback, but it looks like the internet is already doing what it was built to do. Have a look at the interaction below.
