HART buses and TECO streetcars will have slightly different operating hours for Thanksgiving.
On Thursday, November 28, both the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) and TECO Line Streetcar System will be following their Sunday schedule for Turkey Day.
According to a press release from HART, this will be the first time that the streetcar system will be in use during this holiday. The TECO service will run from 8:30 a.m.–11:00 p.m. The following day both services (HART and TECO) will be back on their normal Friday schedule.
Although the bus and streetcar may be open, HART Customer Service Centers and all other HART offices will be closed on Thanksgiving. However, customers who may still need assistance can contact 813-254-4278 or TDD 813-626-9158. Customer Service will be available from 6 a.m.-8 p.m.
Of note is that streetcar track work that's bogged down service through Ybor City might be on a pause starting on Thanksgiving (see below).
