Teacher tenure bill passes in House; Hillsborough's Children's Board avoids a vote on its existence, and a shakeup in the Alex Sink camp: Mitch Perry Report 4.9.10

In Tallahassee, the House early this morning passed the contentious teacher tenure bill, and again the question now is: What will Charlie Crist do with it?

The Children's Board of Hillsborough County might have had to begin campaigning immediately to tell taxpayers why they should be supported - but that won't happen, at least this year, after legislation requiring such boards to go before local voters every six years was shot down yesterday;
