The results are in: According to the Department of Defense survey of nearly 400,000 active and reserve servicemen and women re the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell, the majority essentially feel this way:
I could care less whether the guy or gal serving next to me is gay or lesbian.
This startling (not) news aside, count on Republican homophobes to jump all over one detail: the apparent lingering macho paranoia within the Marine Corps (and to a lesser extent the Army) about being jumped in the middle of the night by marauding pansies.
