After much pressure from gay rights groups, the law firm hired by Republicans in the House of Representatives to defend the Defense of Marriage Act withdrew from the case.


Rapper Lil B, who says he is straight, but supportive of the LGBT community, has been receiving death threats for naming his upcoming album I'm Gay. Lil B also said that the title has nothing to do with his sexuality, noting, though, "I'm very gay, but I love women."


The Episcopal church has deferred the bid of former New Jersey governor Jim McGreevey to join the priesthood. McGreevey stepped down as governor in 2004 after admitting he had an extramarital affair with a male member of his staff.
