The Gaily News: No gay wedding for Bert and Ernie

Though "gay rights advocate" might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Ann Coulter, the conservative commentator, columnist and author has joined the advisory board of GOProud, a Washington, D.C.-based group for gay conservatives. Calling herself the "right wing Judy Garland," Coulter spoke out about her gay fans, saying that she looks forward to "being the queen of fabulous."

In a new video for CollegeHumor.com, John Stamos, with his former Full House co-star Bob Saget, teaches you how to cuddle. Stamos made the video to raise awareness of Project Cuddle, of which he is the spokesperson, a group that offers alternatives to baby abandonment.

After much speculation over whether Bert and Ernie would marry now that gay nuptials are legal in New York, "Sesame Street" officials say there won't be a gay wedding on the show because the two aren't gay, just longtime best friends and roommates. Despite the circulation of an online petition calling for the pair to tie the knot, Sesame Workshop said in a statement on its Facebook page that "...they remain puppets and do not have a sexual orientation." Clearly, they've never seen Avenue Q.
