The Gaily News: Rubio skips CPAC, Bush's daughter supports gay marriage, RI mulls same-sex nuptials, Jonathan Knight comes out

One of George W. Bush's twin daughters, Barbara Bush, is publicly endorsing the legalization of gay marriage. She has taped a video calling for New York to allow same-sex marriage.


The Rhode Island House will take up a bill that would legalize same-sex marriage in the state and is expected to begin hearing testimony on it tomorrow.


New Kids on the Block's Jonathan Knight has publicly announced that he is gay after '80s teen pop star and ex-girlfriend Tiffany "outed" him during a live TV interview. Knight himself said this isn't exactly shocking news, as he's been out of the closet for about 20 years and has never hidden the fact that he's gay.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio is the latest Republican luminary to decline an invitation to the upcoming Conservative Political Action Conference at which he was a keynote speaker last year. Other Republicans and organizations have withdrawn from the conference due to GOProud, a gay conservative group, being named a sponsor of the event. Rubio, however, denies this is the reason he won't be attending.
