The Gaily News: Transgendered Thai flight attendants, French gay marriage ban, Hawaiian gay civil unions, lesbian teens' coup in Minn.

France's Constitutional Council ruled to uphold it's gay marriage ban. The Council declared that such a ban is constitutional after deliberating a lawsuit by a lesbian couple seeking the same rights for their children as heterosexual married couples.


The Hawaiian State Senate has approved civil unions for same-sex couples. The state also recently nominated a lesbian judge to its Supreme Court.


A lesbian couple has been granted permission to walk together in a procession at a high school pep rally in Minnesota. Originally, the teen couple wasn't permitted to do so and filed a lawsuit against their school district, which has since been dropped.

Because Thailand is such a transgendered hot spot, a new Thai airline has actively recruited transgendered flight attendants.
