Welcome to The People's Party, a new kind of Best of the Bay. Instead of filling these pages yet again with mostly our own opinions, we decided to do something different this year. Think of it as a virtual party where we get to talk about our favorite stuff, but we also invite a whole lot of other people to do the same — from the famous and the quirky to just regular folks and, of course, the most important people of all: you, our readers.
