Miami-based indie pop band The Postmarks will follow their acclaimed, self-titled debut album with a series of cover songs called By The Numbers, said the band's multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Christopher Moll in a recent phone interview with Creative Loafing to advance their Sept. 29 concert with The Apples in Stereo at Crowbar, Ybor City.

Moll wouldn't give me any song titles but said each selection will have a numeral in the title. The songs will be released online-only via an as-yet-unconfirmed "major Internet music store." Fans should start looking for the songs as early as October, he said.

My interview with Moll will run in the CL that hits newsstands Sept. 27.

Here are some of the suggestion I gave Moll, plus a few more I came up with after I got off the phone with him.
